There’s wide consensus that this year’s NBA Playoffs will be one of the best ever. There are a lot of good matchups, and I think even the most casual basketball fan will be able to get into these games. The Mavericks come into it this year a bit of an underdog, but you never know. We weren’t exactly the favorite going into the 2006 Playoffs, but we ended up making the Finals! You gotta believe!
On that note, watch some of the NBA playoffs this year. You might enjoy it.
Give or take a second. Quan was able to get a capture of Tin and I at the Mavs vs. Golden State game.
No bets with Quan this time around, but the Mavs take game 1 of the regular season match-up against the Rockets. As usual, Tracy McGrady killed us, and Yao had a pretty decent outing. But JET Terry came up huge for us. We needed that big time.

With an entire offseason to forget our first-round collapse, it’s time to get back into the mix. That’s right, the first Mavs preseason game starts tonight. The road back to the playoffs is long (maybe too long), but hopefully we finish the journey unscathed.

I should note that Eli found this logo on some basketball forum, so props to the guy who Photoshopped this bad boy together. With the way we played tonight, we’re deserving of such shame. Stupid Mavericks.

Fanaticism is rarely a logical thing. It is usually a drunken combination of hope and unrealistic expectations. That passion of course, is a double edged sword. When the party’s over and the lights come on, you are left with a one of two thoughts. Sometimes, its “Wow, what a party!” Most of the times its: “What a mess…who’s gonna clean up?”
The most sobering thought of all: “If they don’t care, why should I?”
